StandOUT
StandOUT, Tye Tribbett and Greater Anointing’s second live release is an outstanding follow-up to the “Victory Live” project. Tribbett’s trademark edgy instrumentation and unambiguous lyrics, combined with G.A.’s exceptional vocals have once again produced a superior product. This project is an intriguing listening CD, and has at least three useable tracks.

Embracing the Next Dimension
“Embracing the Next Dimension”, Bishop Paul S. Morton’s 2008 release is a high-quality recording that primarily presents previously recorded praise and worship songs. But wait – before you pass this project up, take time to listen to a few of the new “gems” this CD contains like “Flow to You”. The dynamic gospel vocals of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship Choir and special guests such as William Murphy and Clarence McClendon bring new life to familiar material. The admirable production and arranging presented on “Embracing the Next Dimension” make this project a valuable resource for any Music Department library.

Live at CFTN
B.J. Putnam’s “Live at CFTN” is a first-rate praise and worship recording. With songs such as “Our Father”, “Shout Joyfully”, and “Be With You”, this energetic CD is filled with well-written material. B.J. Putnam’s passion for praise is causing him to become known as one of Christian music's premier worship leaders. B.J. currently serves as Worship Pastor at Church for the Nations in Phoenix, Arizona.

Champions (Live)
Released November 19, 2007, Freddy Rodriguez’ “Champions (Live)” project is a great P&W recording with a “churchy” feel. This new release is comprised of quality vocals, uplifting original material, and enhanced by exceptional arranging. The production style is comparable to the Lakewood Live project. Check it out.

The Best is Coming
“The Best Is Coming” represents a standard “big” gospel choir sound, and stays safely within the boundaries of a traditional gospel choir. The material is not as well-written as one might expect – especially after hearing “Reverence the Lord”. On a more positive note, this project displays much better recording and mastering quality than River’s previous project. My favorite track on this project is “I’ll Bless the Lord”. Listen before you purchase.
